Upon Arrival in Ironbridge please check in at the ICCCIA INFO point which is located in the Ironbridge Gorge Museums Building behind the Museum of Iron. It is on the on the right hand side of the courtyard in front of Enginuity Museum. Go through the large green doors into the Covered bays area and you will find us there. Here you can pick up your delegate badges and other materials, as well as purchase meals, t-shirts, etc. The ICCCIA Reception Desk will be available throughout the conference as an information point.
If you are Volunteering to help and arrive in Ironbridge earlier than Weds please go to the same point on Monday 3rd April at 10am, Thankyou.
Registration begins on Weds 5th April 2006 at 1pm -5pm.

RECEPTION DESK: Located at the Ironbridge Gorge Museums Covered Bays. Please register here
upon arrival at the Conference to collect your Delegate Badge and other Materials. (See Safety
Information). General tourist and conference day passes and other information can be found here throughout the four days.
BULLETIN BOARD: Please check bulletin board in Covered Bays for any changes during the
conference. You may also leave and pick up written messages to other delegates as well as sign up
to use the Meeting Room.
MEETING ROOM: Located at the back of the Glass Fronted Classroom to the right, this room has
internet facilities and can be used for meetings or other discussion groups during the conference. Use
the sign up sheet on the Bulletin Board to schedule a topic and time slot.
GETTING ABOUT: Nearest Airport is Brimingham International. Nearest Train Station is Telford.
Within Ironbridge most of the activities are within walking distance of Ironbridge and
Coalbrookdale. Local Taxis are available for hire. (see reception desk for info upon arrival) Also The ‘Gorge
Connect' bus goes between Coalport, Blists Hill, Ironbridge and Coalbrookdale Museums on
Weekends. All fares 50p.
COACHES: Weds 5th - 5.30PM. Depart from The Gorge Museums Engine Shop, (next to
Enginuity) to Blists Hill Victorian Town for self tours of the Ironworks and Dinner.
9.30 - 10PM Return to Gorge Museums via Ironbridge.
SHUTTLE BUSES: Friday 7th 4pm – Midnight. Shuttle Buses will be provided to go between the Aga
Rayburn Foundry/Gorge Museums & The Museum of Steel Sculpture the day of Pours.
LUNCHES + DINNERS: Lunches, tea, coffee etc. can be purchased during the day at The Museum of
Iron Café and The Engine Shop Café (9 – 5pm). Evening Dinners are catered for Weds, Thurs, and
Sat, all of which include vegetarian fare. Tickets for these can be purchased at the Reception Desk
ahead of time. You must have your ticket on you or you will not be served. Friday there will be
mobile food units available at The Museum of Steel Sculpture, Carpark from 5 – 8pm. Also
Ironbridge and Coalbrookdale have a wide range of restaurants and cafés for you to enjoy.
SAFETY: To participate in, or attend a pour, personal safety equipment is required; additionally a
liability waiver must be signed. If you have not signed a waiver please do so at the Reception Desk.
This also applies to delegates with Day Passes. Safety glasses must be worn by everyone at all times
when visiting or working at the Aga-Rayburn Foundry site and during pours at the Museum of Steel
Sculpture.
ALCOHOL: No alcohol is allowed to be brought into the Gorge Museums, there will be a cash bar on
Thursday and Saturday Evening. Absolutely no Alcohol or other intoxicants are to be consumed whilst
involved in casting Iron. No Alcohol is allowed at any time on the Aga Rayburn Foundry Site or at the
Museum of Steel Sculpture during pours.
