Call for Images + Video Clips :  Please Share Your 2006 Conference Images + Experiences

Deadline July 20th 2006 !!     DON’T PUT IT OFF – SEND IT NOW LETS GET STARTED!

We are compiling a digital archive of images and information regarding the 5^th International Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art held at Ironbridge World Heritage Site to be used for referential, educational and promotional purposes.  This archive will serve the iron casting community as an important record of this historic event.  The documentation compiled for this archive may be shared on the conference website, used for educational and promotional presentations, and as a resource for interested artists and industry professionals. It is important that the information recorded is accurate and all aspects of the conference are represented in the ultimate archive.   We are looking for the highest quality images that best represent the diversity of activities at the conference for inclusion in the archive. 

All file formats accepted, either Mac or PC.  Please send images at their highest resolution so adjustments can be made as needed.  If you have the time and inclination, please include any relevant information about the images such as what the activity is and who the people in the photos are.  I will also accept short digital video clips. If you are just sending a few images in smaller files, you may email them directly to Carolyn Ottmers at: cottme@artic.edu.

PLEASE NOTE:  It will be impossible to include all images received in the archive database. Carolyn will be editing thru all images to find the ones that best represent the diversity of activity at the conference for inclusion in the archive.  Please do not be offended if your image does not get included. Everyone will be kept up to date on how to access the archive as the project progresses.
